Coprophilia, also known as scatophilia or scat, is a type of sexual pleasure associated with feces. Coprophiliacs enjoy either watching people defecate or defecating on someone themselves. They also may much like the smell, taste, or feeling/texture of feces in the sexual manner. Sexual joy may be produced by obtaining the feces touch your skin or rubbing one’s genitals with the feces. Others may enjoy only the feeling of feces as it exits the anus. The eating of feces is termed coprophagia. The risks related to this sex are infections, HIV, and hepatitis.

Little is understood about the prevalence of coprophlia being a sex, but it’s usually connected with BDSM (bondage, discipline/dominance, sadism, masochism). Typically inside context of the sexual relationships and encounters the dominant partner, or “top”, will be the one defecating on or forcing the submissive partner, or “bottom,” to nibble on the feces as a way to humiliate them and demonstrate their dominance. An alternate way to participate in coprophilia is when the dominate partner doesn’t permit the submissive to defecate without their permission, again as a display of dominance over their partner.

The text of feces with full sexual confidence and pleasure might go completely back to childhood. Some children enjoy holding inside a bowel movement and expelling it slowly under careful control. Additionally, it might be regarding the genital stimulation throughout the changing of diapers during infancy that eroticizes feces.
