Most people follow Sunni Islam. A small percentage of people follow the religions of Russian Orthodox, Catholicism and Buddhism.

Food and drinks

This tour concentrates on meats and soups. In distant and higher altitude regions, vegetables can be hard to come by. There is an abundance of dried fruits and nuts available to try though.

In terms of alcohol, your options are mostly limited to vodka or beer so anyone wanting something different , like Scotch or Gin for example – should buy it duty free and take it home. It isn’t easy to locate mixer drinks such as tonic water.
