I don’t know when I first heard of workbook for students. I recognize that we purchased the book in March 2009 since i wrote the date inside cover.

Once i experimented with see clearly, however, I recently couldn’t realize it. The perception of writing was perplexing. The guidelines it contained baffled me. I’d no time before encountered such teachings. I wasn’t ready correctly and quickly set it up aside.

Eventually, a dear friend suggested that we form a survey group to function around the Course. In my opinion he was simply as bewildered because of it when i was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we might do together what we wasn’t able to perform alone.

So a small number of us met initially in July 2009. At that meeting, we experimented with read a number of pages from the Text — which forms this course combined with the Workbook for college kids and also the Manual for Teachers. What we read in this first meeting made little sense to all of us. It left us frustrated.

Somehow — and I don’t remember how — we chose to turn instead on the Workbook for college kids, with its 365 daily lessons. We have to happen to be divinely inspired with this decision, because it assisted us and possesses continued to function since.

Now, more than two years later, we have been well in to the Workbook for a second time. The daily lessons as well as the Text now make perfect sense. I now enjoy doing the teachings each morning once you’ve got my first walk. I look forward to using the teachings within the lessons into meditation where I will discuss these with my spirit guides. I look forward on the weekly study group meetings where we review and discuss the teachings that we worked on individually throughout the week.

ACIM has totally changed my perception of the globe, and I are getting to be devoted to it. The study group meetings normally leave me in a state of bliss, because ACIM is helping me remember everything I knew when still in spirit but forgot while i drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.

Here’s one of them of the way this course has changed my perception of the globe: I did before feel that this physical world is real which was created by God, nature, along with other forces external to me. I now are aware that I have already been tricked by my five senses into believing life is real. I now are aware that it had been I who created the kind of world I see around me as well as my experiences in it. A few things i see “out there” is absolutely simply a projection of what’s happening inside my own mind. This physical world is an illusion, a hologram by which I will play and learn. None of it is real — I made it all up!

Thus, I am to blame for the kind of world I see around me and all sorts of my experiences in it. I am not a victim of life’s circumstances after all. Most people are not abusing me. God just isn’t punishing me. I see a few things i see, I experience a few things i experience, and I feel a few things i feel since i decide to do so inside my own mind.

There’s no reason for going “out there” to switch what you see on earth. You can’t control, manipulate, or remedy it. This could be like visiting a movie theater and stomping up to tear down the screen as you do not like the show you’re watching.

The only method to change what you see on the screen is to find the projector in the rear of the theater and alter the video. The best way to change what you see “out there” on earth is to change what’s “in here” in your own mind. Improve your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Start to practice unconditional love and acceptance. Whenever you do that, the globe the thing is that “out there” will begin to change. You will no longer is going to be trapped in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.

ACIM is pretty basic and unequivocal concerning this: You are able to remain asleep with this physical illusion, dreaming that it’s real, as long as you prefer. You can also awaken spiritually and find out which you have been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself declared that Heaven can be used, everywhere, but we’ve not been able to find it. As we awaken through the dream of this physical illusion, we are able to experience Heaven below on this planet.
