I don’t know initially when i first been aware of song of prayer. I know which i purchased the book in March 2009 because I wrote the date within the cover.

Once i tried to read it, however, I simply could not be aware of it. The perception of writing was perplexing. The ideas it contained baffled me. I needed never encountered such teachings. I wasn’t quite ready for it and quickly place it aside.

Then, a dear friend suggested that people form a report group to be effective for the Course. In my opinion he only agreed to be as bewildered by it while i was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we might do together what we should had not been able to do alone.

So a small number of us met for the first time in July 2009. During this meeting, we tried to read several pages from the Text — which forms the Course combined with the Workbook for Students along with the Manual for Teachers. That which you read because first meeting made little sense to us. It left us frustrated.

Somehow — i don’t remember how — we thought we would turn instead on the Workbook for Students, using its 365 daily lessons. We have to have been divinely inspired within this decision, as it helped us and possesses continued to be effective since.

Now, a lot more than a couple of years later, we’re well to the Workbook for a second time. The daily lessons and also the Text now make perfect sense. Now i enjoy doing the lessons each day once you’ve got my first cup of coffee. I look forward to using the teachings within the lessons into meditation where I will discuss them with my spirit guides. I look forward on the weekly study group meetings where we review and discuss the lessons that people handled individually throughout the week.

ACIM has completely changed my understanding of the planet, i are becoming specialized in it. The study group meetings normally leave me in a condition of bliss, because ACIM is assisting me remember all the stuff I knew when still in spirit but forgot once i drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.

Here’s one example of the way the Course has changed my understanding of the planet: I did before believe this physical world is real and that it was made by God, nature, as well as other forces external in my opinion. Now i know that I have been previously tricked by my five senses into believing this world is real. Now i know that it turned out I who created the form of world I see around me and all of my experiences within it. Some tips i see “out there” is basically just a projection of what is taking place during my own mind. This physical world is an illusion, a hologram by which I will play and learn. None than it is real — I got all up!

Thus, We are to blame for the level of world I see around me and all sorts of my experiences within it. I’m not a target of life’s circumstances after all. Other people are not abusing me. God just isn’t punishing me. I see things i see, I experience things i experience, i feel things i feel because I choose to do so during my own mind.

There isn’t any part of going “out there” to alter any particular item on the planet. You cannot control, manipulate, or fix it. This is like visiting a movie theatre and stomping up to tear down the screen simply because you dislike the film you’re watching.

The best way to change any particular item on-screen is to discover the projector in the rear of a play and change the video. The right way to change any particular item “out there” on the planet is to change what’s “in here” in your mind. Alter your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Set out to practice unconditional love and acceptance. Whenever you do this, the planet the truth is “out there” will begin to change. So long as will be stored in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.

ACIM is fairly basic and unequivocal about this: You’ll be able to remain asleep within this physical illusion, dreaming that it is real, so long as you want. Additionally, you can awaken spiritually and discover that you have been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself declared Heaven can be used, all around us, but we haven’t been able to find it. Once we awaken from your dream of this physical illusion, i will be able to experience Heaven below on this planet.
