2016 Xmas Rock n Roll music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Xmas rock tune has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main goal of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .

The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then waiting for the opportunity to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session players to record the music durring a 6 week period. The songs consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA as a result of Mark wanted the best result and quality. The track is now ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key goal of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day site as possible and then we hope in-turn they’ll be kind enough to help to one or all of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
One other main goal is to get enough downloads of the song to help fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, which will offer free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ is not open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his song Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Villa and budget flights to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
